Pissing on China

July 30, 2010

Who the hell does China think it is…”increasingly intent on testing U.S. strength”?

Unlike the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico being American ones, the “South China Sea is not a Chinese lake” or so says the USG.

One can play at this game not two…

First the findings on the cause of the sinking of a ROSK ship, the Cheonan,  are at best suspect, with no smoking gun, sunk by a “bubble jet”, the Chinese are wisely not willing to bring the Korean peninsula to the brink of nuclear war over a phantom sub attack that is most likely a South Korean lie used to cover a case of poor seamanship. But have no fear, the Americans are more than willing to push it to the brink, facts be damned and despite an open threat of a nuclear attack; the USA and their stooge, ROSK, have chosen to play  foolish “war games” off the Korean and Chinese coast. Not so much flexing muscle as portrayed by the narrative but more akin to pissing in the wind or crapping in your banker’s bed.

Let’s pretend the Chinese decide to play war games with Cuba in the Gulf of Mexico or the Caribbean, would the USG care? It would be an act of war. The Monroe Doctrines says the USG has the right to “protect our”  hemisphere, other nations like China have no right to such notions, only the USG; after all the Monroe Doctrine is against international “law” as defined by the majority of the world but of course not in Washington.

Faced with a Chinese government increasingly intent on testing U.S. strength and capabilities, the United States unveiled a new policy that rejected China’s claims to sovereignty over the whole South China Sea. It rebuffed Chinese demands that the U.S. military end its longtime policy of conducting military exercises in the Yellow Sea.

The Washington Post speaks of “a Chinese government increasingly intent on testing U.S. strength and capabilities” which can be defined as not finding war games off their coast, poking a stick at a unstable desperate and dangerous North Korea, testing. Who are they to test US strength in such an manner?  Really, who do they think are, us? USA is boss of the world, what is best for the USA is what the USA does, no one tells the USA what to do! How could China not be upset at a nuclear strike force off its coast threatening a border country with war?

Hey, by the way, China, could we borrow a couple trillion we need to fuel these ships, as the USG rattles it sword at China and North Korea it does on borrowed Chinese dollars, debts that will burden the US for generations, that is if the USG does not destroy the world first.

The first “war game” was to be held in the Yellow Sea, which is rather close to China as shown below. They wisely moved it to the Sea of Japan at China’s request but in the future this will not be the case,  America will poke with a a stick and raise tensions more, look for major US war games (indirectly financed by the Chinese) in the Yellow Sea soon, the value of which is lost to this author other than if war with China is one’s final goal.

The U.S. maneuvers have prompted a backlash among Chinese officialdom and its state-run press, which has accused the United States of trying to contain China. Yang Jiechi, the minister of foreign affairs, issued a highly unusual statement Monday charging that the United States was ganging up with other countries against China. One prominent academic, Shen Dingli of Fudan University, compared the planned U.S. exercises in international waters of the Yellow Sea to the 1962 Russian deployment of nuclear-armed missiles in Cuba. But partly because China made an issue of it, a second exercise is also being planned — in the Yellow Sea. U.S. officials also predicted that the George Washington will soon be back in the region — this time in the Yellow Sea.

Take note, because the WP does, in China there is a “state run press”; it must be questioned; it must be qualified for it must be tainted.  Who in their “right mind” would equate the USG placing nuclear missiles off the coast of China with the USSR placing nuclear weapons off the coast of Florida, seems China has forgotten, we are the good guys or perhaps it is us who are the forgetful. The WP makes sure to belittle the Chinese press; yet there is more honesty in the Chinese “state run” media than in the “liberal” (and state run) media that exists in modern America.

Okay war games off the coast are a good old American tradition, to heighten tension is after all the American way, but come on… sovereignty of the South China Sea? Diplomatic insanity, plain and clear in the open for all to see.  It seems Bob Gates wants to make a name for himself, being a war Prime Minster and all, a badass backed by a black guy.

The Chinese openly told Obama and his boys, stay out of the South China Sea a year ago, it is a regional issue, we will resolve it. The moment the Chinese told the USG this, the USG became involved. It is par for the course when it comes to America diplomacy in Asia. Piss poor decisions resulting in failure after failure at the expense of the unfortunate humans that occupy southern Asia.

One has to wonder what motivates such actions, why agitate China in such a way, it is foolish and dangerous. It would be one thing if it was merely that USG in a game of military gamesmanship, another great game, (Bob Gates just got wood) but it  is much more, under current US economic ties with China, China is not the enemy, they are the war banker. To seek heighten tension with China is to not understand the world today, yet it is the current Administration’s policy as it has been for all  US administrations since the “fall” of China to Mao .

Here is a “balanced” view offered by the “liberal” WP from a “right wing” think tank funded by defense contractors, the Defense Group Inc.’s.  Remember this is from the US “free press” propaganda machine not the “state run” propaganda machine in China.

The strategy has won rare acclaim in Washington among the generally fractious community of China watchers. James Mulvenon, director of Defense Group Inc.’s Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis, called it “a masterful piece of diplomacy” in dealing with China, which, he said, “continues to be this paradoxical combination of bluster, swagger and intense insecurity and caution.”

CIRA website’s informs us of its mission and could not be any more clear and honest. It is a think tank that

“requires tailored training on emerging collection tools, analytic methods, and ways to portray intelligence information.”

Such honesty in regard to American propaganda is not rare for this farce is openly portrayed in all media; CIRA fully  understands it is how you portray the information not the information itself, it is an open admission to propaganda. No problem for the “free and open press” of America, good quote for the “liberal” WP, nice balance.

And pretty insightful when he says it is “a masterful piece of diplomacy”; that is if one cares little about diplomacy or world peace or if one wishes to make zero effort toward lessen world tension.

And Mulvenon nailed it when he says China is “paradoxical combination of bluster, swagger and intense insecurity and caution”. Why these Chinese whiners are “blustering” about war games in their back yard by a powerful and hostile nuclear fleet, agitating a very weak  and unstable nuclear power that borders China, why be cautious in such a dangerous situation?

They are cowards for wisdom is meaningless when it comes to American “bluster”; yet here we are burdened with a “insecure” China, whose “insecure” billions finance the cowardly games played by the USG and its cronies worldwide, labeled GWOT.  The clowns in Washington do it in the name of “national security”; not that that has anything to do with fear.  Honestly never in history has there been a more insecure nation then the USA, fear dictates irrational actions.

Yet it is “portrayed” much different in the media and the narrative that taught in the halls of western education as history; it not the USA that is insecure, we are not cowards, the “bad guys” are! After all it is China building a useless, wasteful and mythical missile defense system, or wait…that is us. As far as the swagger comment, China has been around a long time, snot nose America is getting too big for it britches.

U.S. officials explained the moves as part of a broader strategy to acknowledge China’s emergence as a world power but to also lay down markers when China’s behavior infringes on U.S. interests.

Under Washington’s current definition of international law that is the #1 international crime, “infringing on US interests”, nothing matters but US interests, not an opinion an openly accepted fact reported by every media outlet in the world. It is nothing new, history books a full of examples, in fact it is difficult to find an example that contradicts it.

The perplexing part is it is done under the cloak of “goodness” and “human rights” all accepted by a public whose continued silence is  an implied consent to crimes committed in their name by their government; actions beyond the concept of understanding to most; when there exists a herd that considers the term “American aggression” an oxymoron and when said herd is the “majority”; little more need be said.

Joe Goebbels was good at his job but he can’t hold the American propaganda machine’s jock; indoctrination of American Exceptionalism under the guise of freedom, justice and human rights is simply delusional, deranged and downright dangerous.  The level of manufactured consent in the USA in 2010 is unmatched in all of history, a new religion has emerged in America based on God & Country. Hell, how can that go wrong?

Also according to this article, China is not a world power yet, which is simply not true and despite the risks of all-out war with North Korea, which should be deterrent enough to not take such foolish actions; The USG is irritating the banker who holds its notes; to piss on China is not a “masterful piece of diplomacy”; this is open and blatant stupidity. Despite what the “intellects”, left and right tell us.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton offered to facilitate moves to create a code of conduct in the region. And then she said: “Legitimate claims to maritime space in the South China Sea should be derived solely from legitimate claims to land features.”

The key word there is “legitimate” as defined by the USG not the Chinese. As long as there is silence, there will be incompetence resulting in conflict and costs that can be avoided very easily.  As long as none care,  our government and military will continue this policy of the foolhardy, unabated until it reaches a very violent and destructive end.  This can be easily stop by the simplest of common sense.

via U.S. takes a tougher tone with China.
