Marine general warns of more U.S. casualties in Afghanistan

July 29, 2010

General Mattis, nominated to become commander of the U.S. Central Command, with authority over Iraq, Afghanistan and other potential hot spots warns of casualties and warns of more deaths, see in the modern military if you say that deaths are coming it some how makes them more just and understandably. Yet the reason these deaths will be of value is that “the enemy’s situation will continue to worsen”

Yet this is not the case, the American deaths have in no way worsened the enemies position, that notion is simply absurd.

“I believe it will be a difficult summer and into the fall,” Mattis said. “We will have some bad days ahead, but so long as we hold fast and adapt faster than the enemy, the enemy’s situation will continue to worsen.”

Support the troops, fire the Generals, ignore the press.
