Needless to say, a run on the banks in Kabul is really bad sign and just so there is no question who is charge…. Sources said Afghan President Hamid Karzai ordered the Central Bank to move on Kabul Bank after Gen. David H. Petraeus–the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan–urged him to take action. At the news conference, Fitrat said he was unaware of pressure from Karzai or Petraeus, though the sources said the Central Bank governor met with both men last month. When an American general is involved in the decision to close a bank, he is no longer a general, he is a viceroy. Dave Petraeus failed in Iraq and is a fraud; he represents this entire conflict perfectly for he is a charlatan general. The man lies and no one cares, his record of “success” in Mosul, in Iraq are simple false fronts covering failure, make no mistake, the surge in Iraq did not work, the reason violence decreased in Iraq was due to a mass movement of the population of Mesopotamia following the invasion of the American Christian army. By the time, the surge went into effect the Sunni and Shia had separated and the killing that [...]

Wikileaks released a CIA memo on August 24, 2010 and the Washington Post informs us; “As WikiLeaks disclosures go, this paper pales in comparison to the organization’s recent releases.” I beg to differ. This is a perfect example of how the runaway narrative is accepted and even endorsed by the general media and academia as a whole, these institutions have become puppets to the State, a catastrophic failure in “democracy”. The memo is from February of this year and it is from the CIA Red Cell, which by its own accord “…has been charged by the Director of Intelligence with taking a pronounced “out-of-the-box” approach that will provoke thought and offer an alternative viewpoint on the full range of analytic issues.” A simple examination of this memo shows how deep the farce has penetrated into the whole. The first paragraph says a lot “Contrary to common belief, the American export of terrorism or terrorists is not a recent phenomenon, nor has it been associated only with Islamic radicals or people of Middle Eastern, African or South Asian ethnic origin. This dynamic belies the American belief that our free, open and integrated multicultural society lessens the allure of radicalism and terrorism [...]

Howard Kurtz tells us in the Washington Post, News Corp, the owners of Fox News, gave, one million dollars to a political organization it covers, the GOP Governors and it is not that Kurtz has any issue with it the Dems did though; “swift criticism from Democrats” is noted but never does Howard see a problem with it. Throughout this apologist piece he justifies the donation telling his reader It is hardly unusual for media companies to support candidates and political parties. General Electric, which owns NBC, has given $245,000 to the Democratic governors and $205,000 to the Republican governors since last year. Disney, which owns ABC, donated $20,000 to committees associated with Republicans and $11,000 to Democratic committees. CBS gave $13,000 to Democratic PACs and $1,000 to Republican ones. Also pointing out that A seven-figure donation is not a first for Murdoch; he gave $1 million to the California Republican Party in 1996. Which is okay if one is willing to dismiss the role of Fox News in 1996 vs. 2010, the mere mention of it is a poor justification and it is not relevant to the present day. Howard must have aspirations of working for Fox. The apologist [...]

At the Ronald Reagan library, a large set allows children to reenact the US invasion of Grenade. The fact the invasion was a violation of international law and a smoke screen to cover US military loses in Beirut two days earlier is of little importance to the Reagan Library, facts matter little when it comes to indoctrination, this exhibit’s purpose is to expose children to how great a President Reagan was. Yet when one examines Reagan’s record and finds the correlation of facts and the narrative do not mesh. One concludes, Ronnie was not a good President by any means regardless of the myth, a challenge for the indoctrinators at the museum. Making a 27-year-old invasion relevant for today’s children is not always easy. Kids have to be told what communists are, and why Grenada becoming a communist country would have been a big deal. Kids and historians alike ask questions; please tell me again how was Grenade a threat? Damn funny that joke, it never was a threat, of course because it never could be but no issue to the WSJ as it tells how children are asked to role-play, be a war criminal, be like Ron… Some 43,000 [...]

So last week it was Lord Petraeus, this week it is Odierno. All the time these Generals spend on TV, one wonders when they find time for work. But when one realizes in the farcical conflict called GWOT, the job of the generals is to fight the enemy, the enemy being public opinion and the US top Generals are nothing more than master propagandists. Then one can be proud of men like McChrystal, Petraeus, Ordierno…et al. Lying for God and country, it is their duty after all, such fine mean manipulating all for the “good” of you and me, or so we are told. Take the crap Odierno spewed today ”A strong democratic Iraq will bring stability to the Middle East, and if we see Iraq that’s moving toward that, two, three, five years from now, I think we can call our operations a success,” Odierno said. Stability when spoken form this crowd means, the ability for foreign investment to operate freely and without free of violence. It has nothing to do with the people who actually live in Iraq, it has to do with “is it stable for us.” In addition, for Ray to speak of a Democracy [...]

Here is a nice piece from McClatchy News, tells of an American unit storming a village and building a base. All by invitation or so were are told. This despite the fact it being very clear in the article, the people, the locals, the one’s “we protect” did not want the Christian soldiers in their town. “You must make two decisions,” Lt. Col. David Flynn told two dozen men who ventured out last week amid sporadic fighting to take part in the first town gathering under American military control. “Who will lead your village? And do you want to live under the Taliban or the government?” “We are not strong enough,” one of the village elders finally said. “If you allow us into your village, we will stand with you side by side,” Flynn assured the men, who appeared unpersuaded. It seems logical these Afghan men would be unpersuaded by armed Christians setting up camp in the middle of their village. The Americans will be a target, there will be violence, it is bad for all. It is better if the Americans stay away, that can be said for this village and the nation as a whole. But these facts [...]

New rule, can’t carry cash out of Kabul airport without record of it, a transfer, it would seem to be common sense Authorities also said they intend to eliminate an arrangement that has allowed top government officials and other well-connected Afghans to board planes — even while carrying suitcases packed with cash — without declaring the transfers or being searched. On a single day this year, seven couriers declared $8 million in U.S. dollars, according to a second U.S. official familiar with efforts to track the money. In April, officials encountered a courier for a financial transfer firm who reported that he was carrying $700,000 on a flight to Dubai, but when customs officials inspected the courier’s luggage they found $600,000 more in cash. One would think, this open invitation to steal could easily be curtailed but what is most perplexing is the focus of the concern. As is illustrated in the recent arrest of Mohammd Siddiq Chakari, an afghan government official. The story goes it was a bride, me thinks it was something else. Chakari, who left Kabul for London, has repeatedly maintained denied the allegations. But the U.S. official said that associates of Chakari were caught bringing stacks [...]

The Shadow Wars-Part 1 The New York Times is running a series of articles entitled The Shadow War. The first in the series is an article “Secret Assault on Terrorism Widens on Two Continents” penned by Scott Shane, Mark Mazzetti and Robert F. Worth. The shear absurdity of these pieces is beyond reproach; they are absolute master works of propaganda, a treasure chest of examples of the American machine in action all endorsed by a “adverse media”. Many, many places to start to examine this article’s faults but let’s start here… Two fellows are running the show in this Shadow War according to the New York Times first there is Michael G. Vickers, who helped run the C.I.A.’s campaign to funnel guns and money to the Afghanistan mujahedeen in the 1980s and was featured in the book and movie “Charlie Wilson’s War,” is now the top Pentagon official overseeing Special Operations troops around the globe Therefore, Mike helped cultivate the organization that “morphed” into Al Qaeda. One would think the dumbass that armed the Muhajadeen in the first place, would be discredited. However, that is not the case; Mr. Vickers is still helping the USG run the show. I guess [...]

Nixon’s petty crimes of Watergate pale in comparison to his numerous crimes against humanity yet this story barely receives a bump in coverage, AP runs a small story and of course no cable news network or TV network gives it any coverage. It is difficult to square the narrative when one looks at the actions of Mr. Nixon and the USG under his guidance, he was not a crook, he was an international war criminal of the highest order. Indochina is merely one feather in Nixon’s war bonnet of international lawlessness, Nixon was a rogue, a shitbag on every level. Give me one of Henry Kissinger’s memoirs and jury that thinks past the myth and it is enough evidence for him to swing from a rope by Nuremberg standards, yet he is still a high priest in the state religion. “We have assumed that the Government of Uruguay has considered use of threat to kill Sendic and other key MLN prisoners if Mitrione is killed,” William Rogers, Nixon’s secretary of state, said in a classified cable to the United States ambassador, Charles Adair, using the Spanish initials of the group. “If this has not been considered, you should raise it [...]

Here is a good example of the narrative in action. South African Muslim scholar Adam Mahomed Habib, pictured above, despite being the deputy vice chancellor at the University of Johannesburg was barred until recently from entering the United States. Denied entrance in the US for his subject matter one can assume not his faith; his subject matter is, according to the NYT “Making democratic governments more accountable to the people.” Also he is a strong critic of American aggression, so as one can see, pretty scary stuff, hope they made the right decision in granting this “radical” a visa, nothing more frightening than a “Muslim scholar” who speaks of making governments more accountable to the people. The danger being if the American people ever actually made the US government accountable, there would be hell to pay. So the State Department has now allowed him a visa under a deal worked out earlier this year, the reason for the reversal was given to Mr. Habib as: “We won’t tell you why, but we won’t apply the rationale anymore” Which is standard USG speak and attitude, regardless if it is shooting missiles in mud huts or quietly banning ideas from the debate, [...]
